Hang Seng Index Falls 1.5%; Meituan Leads Decline
The Hang Seng Index fell 1.5% at 20,380.64 in Hong Kong. The move was the biggest since falling 1.6% on Oct. 21 and follows the previous session's increase of 0.5%.
Meituan contributed the most to the index decline, decreasing 2.4%. Hansoh Pharmaceutical Group Co. had the largest drop, falling 10.5%.
Today, 75 of 82 shares fell, while 7 rose; all sectors were lower, led by commerce and industry stocks.
