Hang Seng Index Falls 0.6%; CCB Leads Decline
The Hang Seng Index fell for the second day, dropping 0.6%, or 131.8 to 23,157.97 in Hong Kong. The index dropped to the lowest closing level since May 13.
China Construction Bank Corp. contributed the most to the index decline, decreasing 1.7%. Longfor Group Holdings Ltd. had the largest drop, falling 5.1%.
Today, 58 of 83 shares fell, while 23 rose; all sectors were lower, led by commerce and industry stocks.
