European Markets Poised for Higher Open
European equity markets were set to open higher on Friday amid an improving market sentiment, although investors remained cautious about further escalations in the Russia-Ukraine war.
On Thursday, Russia fired a hypersonic ballistic missile at a Ukrainian military facility in response to the use of US and British-supplied weapons by Ukraine to target Russia.
On the economic front, investors will assess November PMI reports from across the region, as well as British retail sales figures for October. Meanwhile, there are no major earnings releases. In premarket trade, Euro Stoxx 50 and Stoxx 600 futures were both up about 0.2%.
