US Futures Fluctuate
US stock futures moved cautiously on Wednesday, with S&P 500 and Dow Jones futures down about 0.2% while the Nasdaq 100 pared early gains to trade around the flatline as traders awaited the FOMC decision later in the day.
The Federal Reserve is widely expected to hold interest rates steady, halting its rate-cutting cycle. However, market focus will shift to any comments on President Trump’s policies and their potential economic impact.
Investors are also eagerly anticipating earnings reports from mega-caps Microsoft, MetaTrader and Tesla, all of which are set to release results after the bell. Meanwhile, T-Mobile US shares jumped more than 8% in premarket trading after reporting stronger-than-expected earnings. Starbucks rose 2.2%, despite a drop in earnings. Danaher fell nearly 6% after warning of a potential revenue shortfall this quarter. Nvidia fell 1.4%, easing off an 8.9% surge in the previous session.
