European Stocks Waver
European markets traded flat to lower on Friday amid concerns about the UK's debt markets, with attention now turning to US jobs data that may provide clues on the Fed's interest rate path.
The Stoxx 50 fell by 0.1% and the Stoxx 600 was nearly flat. Ubisoft's shares fell over 8% after announcing a review of strategic options following speculation about a potential buyout.
Investors were also monitoring surging UK gilt yields, with 30-year yields hitting levels not seen since the late 1990s and 10-year yields reaching their highest since the 2008 financial crisis, reflecting growing concerns over the UK's fiscal policies and weak economic data.
