Finally! Trump Takes Steps to End Shutdown
President Donald Trump is scheduled to sign the Senate Amendment to H.R. 5371 at 9:45 p.m. ET, according to the official White House schedule. This signing would be a crucial step toward ending the long-running U.S. government shutdown.
However, the bill still needs to pass a vote in the House of Representatives before it can be passed. Lawmakers are scheduled to vote on the bill soon.
The end of the government shutdown will begin the long process of restoring U.S. government operations. Hundreds of thousands of federal workers affected by the shutdown will soon return to work.
This recovery process will also include efforts to restore disrupted public services, including food aid and air traffic control systems, which were disrupted during the shutdown. (Asd)
