Indonesia Tourist Arrivals Fall 2.18% YoY in March
Foreign tourist arrivals in Indonesia declined by 2.18% year-on-year to 841.03 thousand in March 2025. In the first quarter, arrivals totaled 2.74 million, up 7.83% from the same period in 2024. For the full year, the government targets between 14 and 16 million foreign visitors. In 2024, tourist arrivals surged 19.05% to 13.90 million—the highest since the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic—meeting the government's target range of 9.5 to 14.3 million. The strong performance was supported by improvements in aviation infrastructure and the development of new tourist destinations
