US Attack Failed? Iran's Nuclear Work Still Going On!
The US military attack on Iran's nuclear facilities last weekend apparently did not have a major impact as claimed by President Donald Trump. According to a US intelligence report quoted by three sources to Reuters, Tehran's nuclear program was only delayed for a few months, not completely destroyed as Trump stated on his Truth Social platform.
The report showed that the main infrastructure of Iran's nuclear program remained intact and could be quickly restored. "There was damage, but it was not fatal," said one of the sources. This directly contradicts Trump's victory claim, which previously called the attack a fatal blow to Iran's nuclear ambitions.
Meanwhile, Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi emphasized that his country's nuclear program was still running without significant disruption. "We will not retreat," he said, quoted by Al Arabiya media. This statement shows that the ceasefire has not really eased tensions, and Iran's nuclear ambitions are still a concern for the world.(ayu)
