Gold Makes New ATH
Gold prices rose to an all-time high (ATH) and traded above $2,950 an ounce on Thursday (20/2), as concerns that US President Donald Trump's tariff threats will trigger a global trade war boosted investor interest in the metal.
Spot gold prices rose 0.7% to $2,953.12 an ounce, as of 0853 GMT, after hitting $2,954.69 earlier in the session, a 10th record high this year.
